EMG delivers quality lifting bags for tools and rope access, as well as equipment bags and specially tailored solutions for unique content or situations. We primarily deliver to the wind- and offshore industry, but our products are relevant in many different industries, such as on-shore, construction, first aid and aviation:
Our lifting bags meet high safety standards and requirements and many of our bags are specially designed in collaboration with our customers, ensuring a consistent improvement of our products.
We design our best-in-class products in Esbjerg, Denmark while our manufacturing takes place in Vietnam. To ensure compliance, quality control of all products is conducted by Danish employees in Esbjerg.
Birth of the first lifting bag
The company came to market because of the need for better products in the lifting industry. To align with specific needs of our customers, the organization is split into two different branches; merchandise and tool bags.The tool bag branch arose out of a need for bags to be used when transferring persons and cargo to and from offshore wind turbines. Nothing was approved and developed in 2004 for that particular market, so EMG started the development of a special bag that could be used for this purpose.
The initial model 3597 and 3585 was made and tested in 2005. After one year of testing, the first models were made and put into service at the Horns Rev Wind Farm no. 1. Subsequently, several major wind turbine manufacturers have been involved in the development process of all the tool bags that EMG offers today. Each tool bag has a special purpose.
Globally Recognized and Acknowledged
Since then, EMG has become a household name in the wind-energy sector particularly, supplying to the biggest companies in the industry such as Siemens Gamesa, Vestas, Vattenfall, Ørsted and many more. EMGs distributor and customer base is spread across the whole world, covering 6 continents: Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe and Oceania.Over time we have attained a lot of partners as well, such as dealers of our products and trained service centres.
New chapter awaits
In coherence with our growth and expansion domestically and world wide, we have recently moved and are now welcoming our customers, suppliers and partners in our brand-new facilities.The facilities are located in the industrial area of Esbjerg N, on Skagerrakvej 1, and includes a newly constructed warehouse and larger office building.
